Jane Indumwa, 40, has lived in Kibera over 12 years. Jane and her husband believed that work would be easy to find once they migrated from their rural home. They planned to accumulate enough money to start a business and raise a family. Work, however, was not easy to find. They have 5 birth children and have taken in 2 orphaned children. To support her family, Jane has a small grocery kiosk. Since joining Village of Love in 2012 she has receievd and paid back two loans amounting to $120. This has greatly boosted her business.
