Born 41 years ago in Kakamega District of Western Province in Kenya, Agripina has lived in Kibera for the last, 21 years. She is married with three biological and three orphaned children, who have been with her for the last seven years. She took them in ince there was no one else concerned about their welfare.
She came to know about Kijiji cha Upendo through a community mobilizer from Lea Toto, an organization that deals children infected with HIV. She joined in 2010, has taken $300 in loans, and has always been prompt in paying back her loans. She has used her loans to expand her vegetable stall. She also received a bike through Wheels of Africa, that has assisted her in transporting her goods.
What she wants for her children is that they end up able to fend for themselves and also help others. (Information recorded in 2014)
