Please join us for a fun evening on May 10th. We will learn to Square Dance, and raise funds for micro-loans. You can read below about Wilemina, one of the women whose family will enjoy square meals as a result of the loans!

Square Dance for Square Meals!
Saturday, May 10th. Learn to Square Dance! All ages welcome! You do not need any previous experience or a partner! Every dance is taught with a “walk through” first.
Come for a Vegetarian Chili Supper at 6:30 pm, Dance at 7:30 pm. Loads of prizes! Raffle! Silent Auction! Just $10 for supper and $10 for dance. Proceeds provide micro-loans so orphan caregivers can feed their children.

Square Meals for Wilemina’s Family
Wilemina has lived in Kibera for 25 years. To support her 10 children (2 orphaned), she sells tomatos, onions, eggs and limestone. With larger micro-loans she could trade woven mats and crafts to make a much better living!

How An Office Raised School Fees
BPA office workers in Mississauga heard of our 2014 school fees short fall. They decided to pay for each day that they wore casual clothes. Their manager offered to match whatever they raised, and they gave us a cheque for over $700. Thanks to BPA and individual contributions, we were able to send the fees needed!
