Andrew and Leonora Obara, founders of Village of Love are currently in Toronto

MEET THE OBARAS!

This amazing couple have raised ten ophaned children in addition to their five biological children. Now, through Village of Love, they are selflessly pouring themselves out to see that orphaned children in the slum communuity of Kibera have food, shelter and the chance to go to school.

“Meet The Obaras”

Tuesday, May 23, 7:30 pm to 9pm. Runnymede United Church, 432, Runnymede Rd. In the Kingsbury Room. The Obaras will offer a slide presentation and talk about their work. Followed by Q & A, refreshemnts and the opportunity to purchase lovely Kenyan crafts in support of Village of Love. The event is free, but we would apprecviate your RSVP so that we can plan for numbers.

“Walk with the Obaras”

Sunday, June 11, 12:30 pm to 2 pm. High Park, along the Lakeshore. Walk with the Obaras, or ride your bike as part of the CAP Ride Bike-a-thon. Join in the after ride barbecue. For details of the event, see CAP Ride

“Supper with the Obaras”
