CHURCH BULLETIN NOTICES

Village of Love would be delighted if you posted our notices in your church bulletin, but feel free to substitute or add in other causes.

ADVENT 1

How can YOU give the GIFT OF HOPE this Christmas?

Give a micro-loan to a family caring for AIDS Orphans!

Instead of exchanging more “stuff,”imagine your family joining together to provide a small business micro-loan to a desperately poor family in the Kenyan slums of Kibera, so that the caregiver can feed her children every day through her own enterprise! You can do this with just $150 through Village of Love Canada. Give HOPE!

ALL amounts are welcome, from individuals or groups! Tax receipts are issued through our partner CAP/AIDS. For information on an innovative gift whereby a woman can grow her own greens and grow a micro-credit fund at the same time, see http://www.villageoflovecanada.org/garden. Donate by credit card online, or write a cheque made out to CAP/AIDS, designating “Village of Love” on the memo line, and send to 1638 Bloor St W., Toronto, ON M6P 0A6, CANADA.

ADVENT 2

How can YOU give the GIFT OF PEACE this Christmas?

Send a Kenyan orphaned child to school!

Education enables a child to discover their gifts and to acquire skills that give them a responsible place in the community. It has also been said that educating girls is the best way to overcome extremism leading to violence. Give PEACE.

Instead of exchanging more “stuff”this Christmas, imagine your family joining together to sponsor an AIDS-orphaned child to go to school in 2013. Through Village of Love Canada, $75 will keep a child in primary school, $500 for secondary school.

ALL amounts are welcome, from individuals or groups! Tax receipts are issued through our partner CAP/AIDS. For information on the “Mandela Weapon for Change Gift”, See http://www.villageoflovecanada.org/Mandela . Donate by credit card online, or write a cheque made out to CAP/AIDS, designating “Village of Love” on the memo line, and send to 1638 Bloor St W., Toronto, ON M6P 0A6, CANADA.
