“The Village” - May 7, 2013Last year 47 cyclists raised $16,000 for Village of Love through the AIDS Ride for Africa. What a powerful achievement! It opened the door of escape from poverty for another 75 children and 30 orphan caregivers in the slum communuity of Kibera, Kenya.
Will YOU help to do the same again this year? The 2013 Toronto AIDS Ride for Africa will take place on Sunday, June 16th, 10 am to 12 noon, riding along the Lakeshore followed by a barbecue in High Park.
A FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION:
Do it with your kids, for the fatherless kids! Honour your own father for all the ways he was there for you!
What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than this fun, easy ride where you can meet like minded people and teach your children to care about others!
There is more than one way you can support this event:
FIVE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
1. Ride your bike and fundraise. 2. Ride your bike and donate. 3. Donate to support a rider. 4. Volunteer as a helper on the day. 5. Be our cheering section and join in the fun! See RIDE 2013
You can register as an individual, or even create a team and invite your friends and family to join you in supporting the cause! Learn how to register at HOW TO
