Orphaned children are supported within loving families

Our Work

• Village of Love supports orphaned and vulnerable children in the families that love them.

• WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT. Empowering women economically and socially ensures that the children benefit, since it is the women who have the burden of care for the children.

• MICRO-LOANS. The provision of small business micro-loans along with training enables orphan caregivers to feed their children with dignity, through their own enterprise.

• EDUCATION. Village of Love supplements the orphan caregivers’ efforts to keep their children in school.

• COMMUNITY HEALTH. Health and safety is promoted through community workshops on HIV/AIDS, gender issues, nutrition and children’s rights.
