Village of Love begins with love for children.

Village of Love is not a geographical village. Families participating in Village of Love are scattered throughout Kibera. They call themselves a village, because they live out the beautiful African village tradition of caring for one another’s children, especially children whose parents have died.

As part of the global village, we can all share in raising children who do not have parents. The big hearted families on the ground in Kenya know how to love children, and are willing to sacrifice to do so. For our part, we have material resources to contribute.

Together, we can be the “Village that raises a child!”
