Black History Month

Summer 2018

100 YARD EVENT!

Join the race to keep vulnerable children off the streets of Kibera and in school.

We do not need you to run 100 yards. Just run ONE Yard Sale this summer. Our goal is 100 Yard Sales across the city. Will you join us?

Donate all or part of your proceeds to Village of Love. You will receive a tax receipt from our umbrella organisation, The Cap Network.

Kibera is one of the worst slums in Africa. Orphaned children on the streets have a bleak future: drugs, crime, gangs, early pregnancy and death. However, with a loving family, food and the chance to go to school, they can become responsible citizens who give back to the community.

The window to make an impact in each child’s life is narrow and the need is urgent.

To participate this summer, choose your own date for a yard sale. Invite your street neighbours to join you, if possible, or to contribute towards your sale. Get rid of your excess to provide the basic necessities for impoverished families. This is a win/ win event!

Register your event HERE or call 416-766-7265. We would be glad to give you brochures about Village of Love!
